Softonic review

A video player that plays almost any video file

VLC+ is not the VLC video program that you can get for free, it is a MAC applet for which a developer has decided to charge a fee. The developer has taken the free software and turned it into an applet. The developer who created VLC+ is not the same developer from VideoLAN organization. The VLC video player was developed by the VideoLAN people, and it is of a very high quality. It allows you to view almost any type of video, it allows you to add subtitle scripts, and it even allows you to turn the volume of your video up by 200%. It has a slew of settings and almost all the functions you would expect with a paid video viewer.

PROS

  • You may use the VLC video player on OSX 106 or later
  • Gain access to the popular VLC video player

CONS

  • The developer is charging money for doing very little work
  • You can create your own VLC player for MAC if you wish
